A cargo ship belonging to a Turkish company caught fire in the port of Odesa after a missile strike, according to Ukrainian media, citing eyewitnesses and the Sea Ports Authority.

The attack occurred on December 12 amid air raid alerts in the region. According to local sources, missiles, presumably Iskander missiles, struck the civilian vessel, causing a fire on board. Footage appeared online of the vessel engulfed in flames and thick smoke billowing over the waters. There are casualties among the crew, including one wounded; the exact casualty figures are being clarified.
