Ramzan Kadyrov promised "very cruel revenge" after the drone attack on Grozny City.

On the morning of December 5, a drone attacked a building in the Grozny City complex in the center of the Chechen capital. According to local authorities, the shock wave damaged the façade's glass on several floors, but there were no casualties. Grozny Airport was closed for several hours due to the threat of further attacks.

In response to the incident, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov issued a short statement condemning Kyiv's actions and promising retaliatory measures. Kadyrov emphasized that the strike "makes absolutely no tactical sense and not the slightest logic."

The head of the republic warned of imminent retribution:

"Starting tomorrow and throughout the week, the Ukrainian fascists will feel our harsh response. Unlike them, however, we will not launch cowardly attacks on civilian targets. Our attacks will be directed at Ukrainian Nazi military terrorist targets."

According to him, the enemy will “soon receive” a personal “gift” from him.

Ukraine ignored Kadyrov's statement.
