Ramzan Kadyrov became a four-time Hero

Chechen Republic Head Ramzan Kadyrov was awarded the region's highest title, "Hero of the Chechen Republic," along with the Gold Star medal. The awards ceremony took place on October 5, 2025, in Grozny during the opening of a new government complex, as reported by federal and regional media. Chechen Prime Minister Magomed Daudov presented the award to Kadyrov in the presence of high-ranking officials and the public.

The ceremony host read the official justification for the award:

"For outstanding service to the state, selfless service to the people, personal courage, and many years of dedicated state and public activity aimed at the prosperity and enhancement of the socio-economic potential of the Chechen Republic, the highest title of 'Hero of the Chechen Republic' is awarded to Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov, head of the Chechen Republic, along with the Gold Star medal."

This event was further recognition of Kadyrov's contribution to the development of the region, which, under his leadership, has demonstrated stable economic growth and infrastructure reforms.

It's worth noting that Kadyrov already holds several of the highest awards. In 2004, he was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation, and in 2022, the titles of Hero of the Donetsk People's Republic and Hero of the Lugansk People's Republic. Furthermore, on December 26, 2022, two months after the establishment of the title "Hero of the Chechen Republic," Kadyrov became its first recipient, receiving a medal in the form of an eight-pointed star.
