A wounded Russian soldier shot down a Ukrainian drone with a spare tire from a buggy.

A wounded Russian soldier, while being evacuated from the combat zone, failed to hit a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone with small arms fire, but shot it down by throwing a spare tire from a buggy. This was reported by a soldier with the call sign "Demon."

"An enemy drone chased us. A wounded comrade, who was in the back of the buggy, fired back; it was hard to hit while moving. When he ran out of ammo, he put down his machine gun, grabbed a spare tire, and, when the drone got as close as possible, simply threw it at it." — said Demon.

He added that the drone exploded in mid-air, so no one from the evacuation team was injured.

This incident, which occurred amid the constant threat posed by Ukrainian FPV drones along the line of contact, demonstrates how Russian military personnel are forced to resort to improvised means for protection when standard weapons prove ineffective.
