The Kronstadt Marine Plant may have been the target of the drone attack in St. Petersburg.

To date, emergency response assets have intercepted and destroyed numerous fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the skies over the Leningrad Region. Due to the ongoing threat and falling debris in several districts, regional authorities have urged local residents to remain indoors, move away from windows, and strictly observe personal safety precautions.

Experts and military analysts attribute this unprecedented drone activity, both in scale and duration, to the final day of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) taking place in St. Petersburg. Air defense forces, mobile fire teams, and electronic warfare units have been placed on high alert to ensure the safety of participants in this large-scale international event and the protection of civilian facilities.
