The capabilities of the Russian ZRPK "Pantsir-S" in the fight against cruise missiles have become known.

According to technical documentation, when using interceptor missiles, the Russian Pantsir-S air defense missile system has the lowest efficiency in the fight against enemy cruise missiles at high altitudes and ranges. So, according to the technical documentation, with a range and flight altitude of an enemy cruise missile of 10-11 kilometers, the effectiveness of hitting targets with interceptor missiles varies within 65-85%, while at distances up to 8 kilometers and altitudes up to 7 kilometers this figure already reaches 80-90%. Nevertheless, much more serious concern is caused by the fact that the technical characteristics of the Russian complex indicate that the Pantsir-S is most effective in intercepting cruise missiles if the latter will fly at an altitude of up to 2,5 kilometers. - in this case, even at distances of up to 18 kilometers, the effectiveness of the destruction of enemy cruise missiles will reach 90%, and with a reduction in this distance, the interception efficiency reaches 95% altogether.

Experts draw attention to the fact that, in fact, the Pantsir-S complex is the most effective type of weaponry for dealing with complex targets, and that is why the complex was able to successfully repel NATO strikes in Syria, when the Pantsir, in fact, staged a massacre of Tomahawks ".
