Ryder: The United States does not allow Kyiv to launch strikes on Russian territory

The United States continues to adhere to its position and does not allow Ukraine to attack Russian territory using American weapons. This was stated by Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder, emphasizing that Washington’s position on this issue remains unchanged.

"The Minister of Defense emphasized that our position on this issue has not changed," - said Ryder.

He added that the United States is focused on providing Ukraine with the necessary weapons to liberate its sovereign territory. The statement confirms that Washington continues to take a cautious approach, avoiding actions that could escalate the conflict and lead to direct confrontation with Russia.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky appealed to the American authorities with a request to allow the use of American weapons to strike Russian targets. However, this request was not granted. The United States continues to provide military assistance to Ukraine, providing weapons and equipment needed to defend and regain control of the territory, but strictly limits their use within Ukraine's internationally recognized borders.
