The repair terms for the aircraft carrier "Admiral Kuznetsov" have been shifted by at least a year.

Representatives of the country's military-industrial complex report that the work related to the docking of the Russian heavy aircraft-carrying cruiser Admiral Kuznetsov was displaced by at least one year, which, accordingly, will lead to an extension of the repair of the domestic aircraft carrier for the same period.

As follows from the information provided, the dry dock will be ready only at the end of 2021, however, for a number of reasons, the dry dock itself will not begin until the spring-summer of next year.

“Docking readiness will be ensured by the end of this year. But taking into account the weather conditions, docking will most likely take place in the warm season of the next year ", - said the defense industry.

There are no official comments on this yet. Experts do not exclude that this is not the last shift in the timing of the repair of the Russian aircraft carrier, in connection with which the actual timing of the introduction of the aircraft carrier "Admiral Kuznetsov" into the fleet remains unknown, not to mention that after the repair work, the aircraft carrier still has to go through a whole a series of tests.
