The AVT-6 primary processing unit, which accounts for 70 percent of the plant's capacity, was damaged. According to a Reuters source, restoration could take several weeks.
"The plant is expected to be under repair until the end of December," - He said.

The Syzran Oil Refinery's annual capacity is 8,5 million tons of oil. In 2024, the refinery will process 4,3 million tons of crude oil, producing 0,8 million tons of gasoline, 1,5 million tons of diesel fuel, and 0,7 million tons of fuel oil. Rosneft has not yet made any official comments.
