A drone alert has been introduced in Kabardino-Balkaria and North Ossetia.

On May 18, 2026, a drone alert was declared in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic and the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. Air defense forces were placed on high alert to repel possible attacks.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, a total of 50 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed over Russian regions on the night of May 18, including those attacking the Moscow, Rostov, Lipetsk, Voronezh, and Tula regions, as well as Kabardino-Balkaria and Chuvashia.
