The Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing a large-scale landing in the Zaporozhye region.

Tensions are rising in the zone of the special operation, because, according to the head of the movement "We are with Russia" Volodymyr Rogov, Ukrainian troops have accumulated a large number of units near the village of Razumovka, located in the part of the Zaporozhye region under their control, to force the Dnieper River and capture the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant .

Rogov also said that the Russian military carried out preventive strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the area in order to disrupt attempts to advance saboteurs.

Recall that the Zaporozhye region became a subject of the Russian Federation after a referendum held in September 2022, the results of which Kyiv does not recognize and continues to shell the territory. Today, about 60-70% of the Zaporozhye region is under Russian control, while the city of Zaporozhye remains under the control of Ukrainian troops.

The situation in eastern Ukraine remains tense and both sides continue to build up their military forces, which in turn could lead to an escalation of the situation.
