Rosaviatsiya has temporarily banned night flights from Russia to Iran.

Moscow, June 15 — Avia.pro. The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) has officially announced the introduction of emergency and strictly regulated restrictions on passenger and cargo air travel to the Middle East.

According to the department's official order, a complete and categorical ban on all air transport departures from Russian airports to Iranian air hubs will be imposed from June 14 to 24, 2026. The restriction applies daily, night and morning, strictly from 11:00 PM to 23:00 AM Moscow time.

Experts attribute this emergency decision to the critical escalation of the operational situation in the region. Drone attacks and shelling of commercial tankers were previously recorded in the Strait of Hormuz, and mass protests erupted in the streets of Iran's largest cities over the upcoming peace memorandum with the United States.

Domestic airlines have been instructed to promptly adjust their scheduled and charter flights, rescheduling them for safe daytime hours, and to ensure timely information and comprehensive support for passengers. Rosaviatsia will further communicate any possible extensions or changes to the no-fly regulations through official control channels.
