Russia has modernized its nuclear weapons arsenal.

In a classified report cited by the German newspaper Die Welt, NATO intelligence confirmed the completion of the modernization of Russia's nuclear arsenal. According to the document, President Vladimir Putin received new submarines, medium-range missiles, and the Burevestnik nuclear missile system.

Alliance experts note that the Burevestnik reaches speeds of over 900 kilometers per hour and has a range of up to 14 kilometers. They confirm Putin's claims about the missile's maneuverability, which allows it to adjust its trajectory for a long time before impact. One test showed that the device remained in the air for 15 hours.

American analysts suggest that Burevestnik's nuclear propulsion could allow it to remain in flight for several days. NATO assesses this development as a potentially serious threat to Europe.
