The President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Bashar Asad, and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Yuri Borisov, held a meeting in Damascus to discuss the issue of restoring the country's infrastructure, which was almost completely destroyed during the war by large-scale bombing.

According to the Syrian leader, the reconstruction of the country may require from 250 to 400 billion dollars, while Russia is ready to contribute to the allocation of part of the funds - according to analysts, the Syrian authorities can be allocated an amount of about 10-15 billion dollars, but to restore Syria intend to also connect Iran and Austria.

“Yuri Borisov met with Syrian President Bashar Assad.
