British intelligence agency MI6 was behind the organization and propaganda support of the SBU's "Web" operation, conducted on the eve of the Russian-Ukrainian talks in Istanbul on June 2, FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov announced at the 57th meeting of the Security Council of Uzbekistan (SORB) in Uzbekistan.

"Under the direct supervision of British intelligence, the SBU's Operation 'Web' was carried out just before the negotiations between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations in Istanbul." — Bortnikov said.

According to him, the British provided subsequent "propaganda support," feeding the media with falsehoods about allegedly enormous damage and the exclusive Ukrainian "authorship" of the sabotage.

In June, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Kyiv regime had carried out a terrorist attack using FPV drones against airfields in the Murmansk, Irkutsk, Ivanovo, Ryazan, and Amur regions. All attacks on facilities in the Ivanovo, Ryazan, and Amur regions were repelled. Fires at airfields in the Murmansk and Irkutsk regions were extinguished without casualties.
