TF-X Fighter

Russia announced the creation of a 5th generation fighter for the Turkish Air Force

Turkey will receive one of the best fifth generation fighters in the world.

The head of the state corporation "Rostec" Sergei Chemezov said that the Russian side is ready to provide Turkey with all the necessary assistance in the development of the Turkish fifth generation fighter TF-X. Apparently, the Turkish combat aircraft will use the same technologies that are used in the Russian fifth generation Su-57 and Su-75 fighters.

“We are always open to dialogue with our partners. If Turkey shows interest, we are ready to cooperate in this direction. We know that Turkey intends to implement a project to produce its own fifth generation fighter TF-X. Having aviation systems and experience in their development and production, we can consider the possibility of support in the creation of a new Turkish fighter "- said the head of the state corporation "Rostec" Sergei Chemezov.

Today, Russia has quite a lot of experience in developing fifth-generation fighters, although, apparently, Turkey is much more in need of developing an engine for its TF-X fighter. This, by the way, has already been repeatedly mentioned by Ankara.

"Obviously, Turkey will not allow Russian developers to create a fighter for the Turkish Air Force, however, without an engine, such a fighter simply cannot be built, and here Russia is the main ally of the Turkish side.", - the expert marks.

At the moment, the Turkish side has not yet given any comments on this matter. Ankara previously mentioned Russia as one of the likely partners in the creation of the TF-X fighter.

Do you think the Turks turned to the pasta factory for military development?

Well, let’s arm our sworn enemy to the fullest, only then we don’t have to grumble about our downed planes and the progress of the ISIS members.

If in the future Turkish fighter only engines will be Russian, and weapons and equipment - Turkish and NATO, then in a hypothetical case of a conflict between Turkey and Russia, the Turks will use these 5th generation fighters against the Russian Armed Forces.
Then the Russians will pay with their blood tomorrow for the money received by someone today.

I completely agree with you!

"by your planes", and you have YOURS?

We would have learned to do it ourselves, and then they would offer the Turks, or maybe it’s a cunning plan, to ditch all the Turkish pilots with our planes.

Hopefully this is not just a commercial issue. Personally, I would have preferred the Turks to design their aircraft for our engines than PW or GE. The Turks will spend time and money, and Russia will be able to manage the process.

for 5-10 billion euros, Rostec is ready to develop a fighter of an original design for the Turks, if the Turks do not like su57))

They make an airplane))) Only there is no engine))))
turkish humor

wah what a non-standard approach, HELP ENEMIES ..
the result is predictable, the Turks will have 5 aircraft in 100 years. 5 in service, Russia has 10.

The best fighter of Ottoman .. tomatoes from Moscow markets.

To do airplanes for the Turks is a big foolishness.

Are our officials not embarrassed that Turkey is still a "partner" ready to stab Russia in the back at any moment? There are plenty of examples in the last few years alone ...
