Russia reacted to the attacks of the West by promptly transferring two tank companies to the NATO borders.

After the provocative actions of European countries in relation to Russia, the Russian side transferred 23 newest T-72B3M tanks to the territory of the Kaliningrad region, thereby significantly increasing its presence near the NATO borders. As it turned out, two tank companies of the latest tanks are quite enough to displease Poland, which has already begun to call on the North Atlantic Alliance to respond to such actions by Russia.

The key feature is that the tanks transferred to the Kaliningrad region have modern characteristics and are fundamentally different from the equipment that has been encountered in Poland earlier. This was evidently realized in Warsaw as well.

According to Russian experts, by its actions, Russia undermined Poland's self-confidence and completely discouraged Warsaw from conducting a forceful dialogue with Russia and threats from American Abrams tanks.

“New tanks will strengthen our grouping, given that Poland is actively buying American weapons. Warsaw boasts that it will have supposedly impenetrable Abrams, even though they blazed like a torch from an RPG in Iraq. I believe that this is a serious step on the part of Russia to strengthen the defense capability in the region ", - quotes the opinion of the Russian expert Yuri Knutov, the publication "PolitRussia".
