The Russian leadership is planning military exercises in the coming weeks and is moving its ships and aircraft to the Caribbean for this purpose. This was reported by the Reuters news agency, citing sources among American officials.
According to the publication, these exercises are part of Moscow’s response to Washington’s military support for the Kyiv regime. The official, quoted by Reuters, noted that with such actions Russia intends to show that it has the ability to demonstrate its power at the global level.
According to Western press reports, Russian warships will stop in Cuba and Venezuela, and after completing the exercises, they will remain in the region until the end of summer to conduct another similar military maneuver in the fall.
