Russia deployed additional air defense and radar to south Damascus to prevent Israeli strikes

Iranian media are reporting Russian interference in Israeli strikes against Iranian forces in Syria.

Against the background of how Israel began to actively strike at the territory of Syria, attacking units of Iranian forces and, probably, not coordinating their strikes with the Russian side, it became known that Russian units were deployed to the south of the Syrian capital. The Russian military has deployed additional radar stations that now allow close monitoring of Israeli aircraft and the missiles they launch long before they can strike.

According to Iranian journalist Khayal Muazzin, Russia has transferred its forces stationed in Syria to the south of Damascus. A convoy consisting of radar platforms and air defense equipment arrived at the location of the 75th Air Defense Brigade, in addition to the presence of a number of Russian officers and specialists. It is noted that in this way "Moscow decided to put pressure on the new government of Israel," in the light of talk of military assistance to Ukraine and uncontrolled Israeli strikes on Syria.

It should be noted that a day ago, Israel launched at least 10 strikes on Syrian territory, as a result of which objects used by Iranian groups were destroyed, some military cargo and several fuel trucks with Iranian fuel were destroyed. Apparently, the current strike was not coordinated with Moscow.
