Russia showed the sixth generation fighter - it meets all the requirements

Russia became the first country in the world to develop a sixth generation fighter jet.

Russian designers managed to make a huge technological leap and successfully create a sixth generation fighter. It is to this class that the newest Checkmate light combat aircraft, known as the Su-LTS, was assigned.

According to the previously approved regulations, the sixth generation fighter must inherit all the characteristics of the fifth generation fighter, and at the same time either be completely unmanned, or have two versions - both manned and fully unmanned. As part of the MAKS-2021 air show, it became known that the Su-LTS fighter will be available in three different versions - basic with one pilot, two-seat and unmanned. The latter option is of the greatest interest, as previously reported by the Avia.pro resource, since in fact, this allows a combat aircraft to be directly attributed to a sixth generation fighter.

“Russia has not just created a promising combat aircraft, but has developed a sixth generation fighter. At the moment, the existence of an unmanned version is unknown, however, obviously, work in this direction is being actively carried out, and if ready, Russia will officially be able to declare that it has created the first combat aircraft of the sixth generation in the world. ", - the expert marks.

It should be noted that the development of the Su-LTS was carried out in a secret environment and the aircraft became known only a few days ago.

This is not a layout. This is a prototype. And this particular prototype will take off in two years.

What is the difference between the fifth generation and the fourth? Do all the characteristics of the Su-57 correspond to the fifth generation? Does this model (su-lts) fly at all?

Commentators are mostly great, but the author ..... well, you can't trade yourself so fiercely for 5 kopecks.

The submission clearly stated that it was a fifth generation light fighter, and the requirements for the sixth were not yet clearly formulated. They say about the sixth that it will be purely unmanned, either optionally pilot, or capable of flying into space low orbit and performing tasks there, etc.

laboratory exhibits will not impress anyone, although they will look with pleasure. Only mass rapid production speaks of the country's potential, but alas. we will not see this, because all related suppliers and design bureaus have not been available for a long time

This is no longer a model, but a sample for testing on the ground (not flight)

Blah blah blah. Requirements for the 6th generation fighter have not yet been formulated (UAV, entry into orbit, swarm with AI h.z ...)

While this is a mockup, there is not even a flight prototype.
