Russia will sell combat helicopters Ka-52 to Egypt

Egypt and Russia agreed to supply attack helicopters Ka-52 Alligator.

At present, an official agreement has been signed, according to which the delivery of combat Russian helicopters to the Egyptian Air Force will begin from the year 2016, however, official data on the volumes of military equipment purchased were not announced, although experts suggest that the speech appears to be about 6 rotary-wing machines.

Russian combat helicopter Ka-52 Alligator is very interested in the Egyptian Air Force, since it is not only a powerful means of conducting fire, but also a sufficiently maneuverable machine that allows you to move in the air in virtually any direction at high speeds. In addition, the Ka-52 Alligator helicopter is capable of performing special maneuvers that are inaccessible to other helicopters, in particular, circling around the target, carrying out its shelling.

Among other things, the news agency Avia.pro became aware also that the Egyptian Air Force expressed its interest in buying other Russian military equipment, however, at the moment there are no officially concluded contracts.
