Russia ignored Ukraine's 48-hour ultimatum.

Two days ago, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba presented Russia with a 48-hour ultimatum, referring to the fact that he requires Moscow to provide data on military exercises conducted by the Russian side, the number and composition of units within the specified time frame. As measures, Dmitry Kuleba announced that Kiev was ready to convene an urgent meeting of the countries that signed the Vienna Treaty. Despite such demands from Kiev, the Russian side completely ignored Ukraine's request.

At the moment, there is information that Russia did not receive any demands from Kiev at all, and Kuleba's threats are only an attempt to create additional tension. However, it is noteworthy that the 48-hour ultimatum coincided with Western statements that a full-scale armed conflict would begin in Ukraine this week, although no facts indicating this were presented.

Moscow has not yet commented on the situation. However, experts note that earlier Russia announced that it intends to conduct military exercises on the territory of neighboring Belarus, and the deployment of military equipment on the territory of Russia, even near the borders of Ukraine, is not any factor that allows us to assert that we are talking about about maneuvers - this technique is located in the area of ​​​​Russian military bases.
