The Russian military has tested a new missile attack warning system.

Against the background of growing tensions in the world due to the breakdown by the United States of the INF Treaty and withdrawal from a number of international treaties, the Russian military has developed and has already successfully tested the latest domestic missile attack warning system. Information on this matter was presented by the general designer of the missile attack warning system Sergey Boev.

"At the end of December 2020, we have successfully completed tests of the early warning system as a whole and the command post in particular"- said Boev.

Experts believe that it was with these tests that large-scale launches of cruise and ballistic missiles by the Russian military could be associated - during the check of the readiness of coordinated actions of the strategic forces of Russia, the missile attack warning system was also tested.

For obvious reasons, the capabilities of the newest Russian system are not disclosed, however, given the fact that we are talking about a new generation system, the latter will obviously be ready to detect even hypersonic missile launches.
