Russia is "ripe" for the creation of a missile base in Cuba.

On the air of the Russia 24 TV channel, a statement was made by Igor Korotchenko, who announced the creation of a Russian military missile base on the territory of Cuba, with additional air and anti-missile defense systems deployed there. According to Korotchenko, Washington is to blame for this, having torn apart the Treaty on the Elimination of Intermediate-Range and Short-Range Missiles, which allows Russia to freely take the entire western hemisphere under a hood.

“Before the train leaves, we must return to Cuba. To create a Russian military base there and not only an electronic reconnaissance center, which we used to successfully function there and kept the entire western hemisphere under a hood. A new base is needed with new Iskander missiles with an increased range. After the US withdrawn from the INF Treaty, nothing prevents us from increasing the capabilities of our effective weapons systems in terms of extending their range by several thousand kilometers. Cuba is the key point where we will keep under control everything that happens. "- Igor Korotchenko said on the air of the Russia 24 TV channel.

Experts are of the opinion that if the United States of America does not want to solve emerging problems through diplomatic means, then Russia simply has no other choice, especially since the creation of a missile base here is fully in line with both the interests of Russia and the interests of Cuba.
