Russia decided to defend against NATO by all means

Russia is ready to use all existing means against NATO.

Sergei Ryabkov, deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, said that the North Atlantic Alliance rejected the idea of building pan-European security “over the barriers and dividing lines”, and therefore Russia is ready to radically change relations with NATO.

Sergei Ryabkov stressed that due to NATO’s reluctance to compromise, Russia will take care of its own security by resorting to absolutely any means. What exactly should be understood by Ryabkov’s words is still unknown, but as experts note, this may well mean that Russia will be ready to change its concept of relations with the North Atlantic alliance, especially against the background of the breakup of the Treaty on the Elimination of Medium and Shorter-Range Missiles, and also in connection with the expansion of the presence of the US military near the Russian borders.

It should be clarified that NATO is actively increasing its military presence in the immediate vicinity of the Russian borders.
