Since the start of active military operations in the Kursk-Sumy direction, Russian missile units have destroyed 13 M142 HIMARS and M270 MLRS multiple launch rocket systems. Of this number, nine M142 and four M270 installations were disabled in this section of the front from August 15 to September 5. If we take into account the systems destroyed in other directions, the Russian Defense Ministry announces the elimination of 14 installations.

These losses of the Ukrainian armed forces were the largest in the last year, surpassing even the losses in the period from December 2022 to January 2023, when active combat operations were conducted in the Artemovsk area and HIMARS and M270 installations were regularly hit in the industrial zones of Kramatorsk. At that time, the use of these systems was significantly limited by Russian strikes, but since then the Ukrainian army has not suffered such losses of fire weapons until the current period.

In Ukraine and the USA they ignore this fact and do not comment on the situation.
