Russia sets record by shooting down 21 Ukrainian drones in a day

The Russian military shot down 21 Ukrainian drones in a day.

The Ukrainian military lost 21 unmanned aerial vehicles in just a day. This is a record figure for Russian air defense systems. The actual number of drones destroyed, apparently, can be much higher.

“The air defense forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed 21 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles per day in the areas: Zmeiny Island, Petropolis, Strelechye, Malaya Kamyshevakha, Dementievka, Kharkov Region, Skadovsk, Kherson Region, Donetsk, Gorlovka, Donetsk Donetsk People’s Republic, Gorskoe, Oknino, Luhansk People’s Republic and Novaya Sburyevka, Kherson region", - informs the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

What type of drones we are talking about is not specified, however, large-scale losses of drones within just one day indicate that the Russian military carefully controls the airspace, since just one drone can cause very serious damage and change the situation in the region .

In addition, during the briefing, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the interception of one Tochka-U tactical missile and 22 rockets, however, no details were given in this regard.
