Russia is outraged by the creation of a special "tribunal for the crimes of aggression of Russia"

Russia was outraged by the creation of a special "tribunal for the crimes of Russian aggression."

After the French Foreign Ministry announced the start of consultations with European countries on the creation of a special tribunal, which will investigate the "aggression of Russia", the Russian side expressed its indignation on this matter.

“We are outraged by the statement of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France regarding plans to create some kind of “special tribunal for crimes of aggression by Russia.” In addition to trying to involve the International Criminal Court, the countries of the West decided to promote the idea of creating another overtly politicized "judicial" instance, which, in fact, has nothing to do with justice", - the Russian Foreign Ministry said in an official statement.

For obvious reasons, within the framework of the creation of the tribunal, Russia's interests will not be taken into account. At the same time, it was previously stated that the creation of a tribunal may be the goal of European countries to confiscate the frozen assets of Russia, with a view to their subsequent transfer to the Ukrainian side.

Europe has not yet commented on the Russian statement. However, it is obvious that the situation will further worsen relations between Russia and the EU.

Which countries are supposed to be included in the special tribunal is not specified, however, in all likelihood, this will include France, Germany, Poland, Great Britain, etc.
