The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, expressed the opinion that the events in Syria, connected with the intensification of terrorist activity, may be connected with support from Ukraine. She stated this at the next briefing, noting that among the foreign fighters operating in Syria there are people from the post-Soviet space and their activities are allegedly coordinated by the Ukrainian special services.
According to Zakharova, Moscow has information about the supply of drones to terrorist groups from Ukraine. This, in her opinion, contributes to the "spiral of violence" in the region.
"We strongly condemn the attack, in the vanguard of which are terrorists recognized as such by the UN Security Council. Among the foreign militants, including those from the post-Soviet space, there is clearly a so-called Ukrainian trace," - the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized.
According to Zakharova, reports of interaction between Ukrainian structures and terrorists are causing serious concern on the Russian side. She added that Kyiv's actions allegedly go beyond the conflict on Ukrainian territory, becoming a factor of destabilization in other parts of the world.
