Russian aircraft launched powerful strikes on the positions of Turkish militants in Syria

According to Syrian media reports, the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS RF) launched new strikes on targets in the province of Idlib. According to preliminary data, Russian aviation carried out a series of pinpoint strikes on the objects of pro-Turkish combat formations located on the outskirts of the village of Bazabur in the Jebel al-Zawiya region.

As part of this operation, strategically important enemy targets were hit, including ammunition depots, bases and headquarters. Syrian sources emphasized that Russian aviation is highly effective in carrying out such operations, which makes it possible to neutralize significant resources of enemy groups in a short time.

However, at the moment there is no concrete information on the number of militants killed as a result of these air attacks. It is worth noting that the exact number of dead and wounded usually becomes known some time after the end of hostilities, after rescue work has been carried out and the area has been cleared.

Idlib is the last major stronghold of the armed opposition and Islamist groups in Syria. In particular, there are formations supported by Turkey. The Russian Aerospace Forces regularly conduct operations against these groups, trying to support the Syrian army in the fight against terrorism and helping to restore control of government forces over the entire territory of the country.
