In the area of ​​forest plantations north of Artemovsk, Ivanovo paratroopers successfully carried out an operation against a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). According to received intelligence information, the Ukrainian unit was preparing maneuvers in the direction of Russian defensive positions, which became the reason for military intervention.

Using the element of surprise, the assault groups attacked from various directions, rapidly approaching enemy positions. As a result of a quick and decisive attack, the Russian military captured and destroyed a BMP-1 armored vehicle and a light tank produced at Western factories. After a successful operation, the landing troops secured positions abandoned by the Ukrainians.

In an attempt to counterattack, Ukrainian forces encountered powerful fire support from Ivanovo paratroopers. The squad, armed with the AGS-17 “Plamya” automatic grenade launcher, effectively used the weapon, which forced the enemy to retreat, while suffering casualties.
