According to Ukrainian military channels, Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRG) have come very close to the southern outskirts of Pokrovsk. According to the Deep State map, the distance from the front line to the city's outer streets is less than two kilometers. The escalation of the situation is causing serious concerns among the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the preservation of Ukrainian positions in this area.
At the same time, it is noted that Russian troops are trying to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the settlements of Peschanoye and Chunishino. These areas are considered strategically important for both sides, since their control can affect the development of events in the region.
Pokrovsk remains one of the key hubs of Ukraine's defense in the southern direction. Losing control over this city could open the way for further Russian offensives deep into the territory, which would pose a threat to adjacent settlements.
Ukrainian military experts emphasize that the current situation requires urgent strengthening of defense and concentration of reserves, but Kyiv has a catastrophic shortage of troops.
