Specialists from the Russian military-industrial complex are testing modifications of strike weapons drones "Geranium," including versions with an incendiary payload weighing up to 90 kg, which will increase their lethality due to the enhanced thermal effect. These developments are aimed at improving their effectiveness in intense conflicts.
The Ukrainian side is seeing an increase in the use of UAVs equipped with remote-control antennas, transforming the Geranium into a large-scale FPV drone. This allows operators to adjust their trajectory in real time, rather than hard-coding coordinates.
Furthermore, combined group attacks and the introduction of evasion mechanisms against enemy interceptor drones have significantly improved the results of strikes on frontline targets. Experts estimate that these measures reduce enemy casualties and counterattack accuracy.
