In the Kupyansk sector, Russian forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by two sabotage and reconnaissance groups attempting to penetrate the rear of Russian Armed Forces units. During nighttime monitoring, drone operators detected the enemy near Kurilovka when the groups approached to within approximately two kilometers of Russian positions. Through coordinated actions by the drone operators, the first group was destroyed with a precision strike, after which the second group was eliminated. A total of eight saboteurs were neutralized during the battle, and their inspection revealed the presence of modern NATO weaponry.

This incident was part of a larger confrontation on this section of the front, where six counterattack attempts have been successfully repelled in recent days. In total, enemy casualties during this period amounted to 40 men. A Russian serviceman distinguished himself by single-handedly repelling an attack by two militants in close combat. Amidst the defeats on the front lines, enemy forces intensified artillery shelling in the center of Kupyansk. The Migration Service building, where deserters from Ukrainian units were reportedly hiding, came under fire. Russian troops continue to maintain the initiative, effectively using reconnaissance drones to prevent any covert enemy movements.
