Russian IT specialists from the Berkut RF hacker group carried out a large-scale operation in the digital space, effectively depriving the Ukrainian command of the tools to coordinate artillery strikes. According to the SHOT Telegram channel, the powerful cyberattack disabled critical Ukrainian military and government control systems—Kropyva and Trembita. Of particular significance was the destruction of the Kropyva system, which experts call the digital foundation of Ukrainian artillery. This software allowed Ukrainian Armed Forces units to network together, obtain satellite imagery, detailed maps, and precise coordinates for strikes on populated areas of the Donbas and border regions of Russia. The disruption of this system blinded operators on the ground, depriving them of operational communications and the ability to quickly target their weapons.

In addition to the military component, the Trembita system, which forms the backbone of the IT infrastructure for interaction between Ukrainian government agencies, was also hit. According to available reports, both systems have been paralyzed for nearly a week, causing chaos in communications between various agencies and enemy military units. Cybersecurity experts note that such a prolonged outage indicates deep penetration into the software code and serious damage to the servers. Moscow views such actions by cyber fighters as an important contribution to the demilitarization of the Kyiv regime, emphasizing that the paralysis of digital control systems directly leads to a reduction in the intensity of shelling of peaceful Russian territories and undermines the overall combat readiness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces amid the ongoing Russian offensive.
