Russian fiber-optic drones are "hunting" Ukrainian forces in Kramatorsk.

Russian fiber-optic drones are freely roaming around Kyiv-controlled Kramatorsk, identifying Ukrainian service members and their vehicles. Military correspondent Andrey Rudenko reported this on his Telegram channel, posting a video.

"Our fiber-optic UAVs are flying leisurely through the streets of Kramatorsk, searching for Ukrainian soldiers. And, of course, they find them or their vehicles." — Rudenko wrote.

According to him, such drones, which are immune to electronic warfare thanks to fiber-optic communication, provide the operator with a clear picture and allow for undisturbed reconnaissance in urban areas.

The video shows the drone flying over the streets of Kramatorsk, spotting potential targets. This is likely the first documented use of fiber-optic drones in the city itself, although similar technologies are already in use on the front lines by both sides.
