Last night, Russian air defense systems detected and destroyed two unmanned aircraft-type aerial vehicles aimed at Russian territory. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, one of the drones was shot down over the Kursk region, the other over the Belgorod region. These actions were part of the ongoing standoff on the border, although the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not undertake any intensive attacks using UAVs that night.

The situation in the border areas remains tense, with the Kursk and Belgorod regions regularly becoming targets of attacks from Ukraine. Since the start of the conflict, air raid sirens and the use of air defense systems in these regions have become commonplace, and the Russian military continues to step up security measures to protect its territories from threats from drones and other weapons.
