Tonight, according to sources, the Russian military airbase "Khmeimim" was again attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles launched by the enemy from the north-east direction. Unmanned aerial vehicles, and, according to some reports, we are talking about 3-4 drones, were successfully shot down at a safe distance from the Khmeimim airbase, while the monitoring resource Sentry Syria reports that after that Russia raised its planes into the sky , obviously, for retaliatory strikes.

This is far from the first attempt by militants to attack the Russian military airbase "Khmeimim" since the conclusion of agreements between Moscow and Ankara, and, apparently, Turkey did not manage to take the situation under its control, and therefore it is logical to assert that Russia can break the agreement at any time, especially given that it concerns the threat to Russian military forces in Syria.
