Between 20:00 PM Moscow time on May 20 and 7:00 AM Moscow time on May 21, air defense alert systems intercepted and destroyed 121 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the drones were shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Rostov, Samara, and Saratov regions, the Republic of Kalmykia, the Republic of Crimea, and the Caspian Sea.

The air targets were detected in a timely manner and eliminated before they reached targets within the country.

There is currently no information available about possible consequences on the ground or casualties.
