Russian Iskander-M missiles destroy Ukrainian airbase near Voznesensk

In recent days, the intensity of Russian strikes on Ukrainian territory has somewhat decreased, but the nature of the attacks remains pinpoint and aimed at strategically important objects. The main targets include military warehouses, airfields and accommodation points for personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This is reported by Russian online publications and military analysts.

One of the most significant events of the last few hours was the strike on an airbase in the Nikolaev region, near the city of Voznesensk. According to information published by the local underground coordinator Sergei Lebedev in the Telegram channel "Shaggy Z Nikolaev", the attack resulted in serious explosions in the area of the Martynovka airfield. Lebedev claims that there were two aircraft at the airfield at the time of the strike. The fate of one of the aircraft is unknown, but it is assumed that at least one aircraft was destroyed along with the crew.

In addition to the Nikolaev region, strikes were recorded in Kharkiv, Kremenchuk and Priluki in the Chernihiv region. In Kharkiv, the attacks affected suburban areas where, according to Lebedev, bases with Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel, mercenaries and nationalist battalion formations are located. Despite the lack of precise data on losses, reports indicate a significant reduction in the number of Ukrainian troops in this area. Lebedev claims that Ukrainian Armed Forces units near Vovchansk and Kupyansk were unable to receive rotation due to the high intensity of strikes.

In the Poltava region, in the Kremenchuk area, the strikes hit strategic facilities near the Potoki railway station. This area is known for its high concentration of Ukrainian forces, as well as the presence of an oil depot and electrical substations, which makes it an important target. The consequences of the attacks are still being assessed, but it is already clear that they could affect the logistics and supply of Ukrainian troops.

In Chernihiv Oblast, in Priluki, explosions occurred in the area of military town No. 3, where a restored airfield is located. This facility, protected by mobile observation posts, has previously been hit. In addition, Priluki is a strategically important hub due to the presence of two gas storage stations, which increases the importance of the region for both sides.
