Foreign media have ridiculed Russian S-300 air defense systems in Syria.

Despite the fact that Russia has declared its intention to react firmly to any strikes on the territory of Syria, including using electronic suppression means in order to prevent warships and airplanes near the coast of Syria, which have been armed with the C-300 air defense system. never been used, despite the dozens of strikes the Israeli Air Force. This caused a lot of questions about whether this weapon is as effective as it was characterized, which led to ridicule of the air defense system.

After the attack of the Israeli Air Force on the night of July 1, experts said that Israeli fighters simply did not notice the C-300 because of the mountainous terrain, but after that the territory of the SAR underwent a new attack, to which the C-300 again remained silent.

Against the background of the absence of any reaction from the side of the Syrian air defense systems, the opposition Syrian media, the mass media of Israel and the United States vigorously criticized the C-300 air defense system, calling them useless, because today these air defense systems are on full alert, as evidenced by satellite snapshots.

There are no official comments on this score from either the Russian Defense Ministry or the Syrian Defense Ministry, which raises even more questions and literally destroys the image of Russian weapons.
