Russian chassis will be installed on the Boeing

03 March 2013. Within three years, the Russian company Aviation Equipment intends to introduce into production chassis components and other elements for Boeing aircraft. The Russian holding intends to enter the delivery of serial products to the international market by approximately 2017-2018. The priority is participation in projects on SSJ100 and localization of DAI. AND Bombardier Q400.
Representatives of the holding are currently negotiating with five foreign companies on the delivery of components. In addition to large aircraft construction holdings, small Asian companies in China and Indonesia are considered as employees.

The first products with which Aviation Equipment will enter the international market are the fire protection system developed together with CurtissWrightControls, and power supply systems, auxiliary power units and oxygen systems.

Cooperation with large US and European holdings is of interest to us not only in connection with the acquisition of relevant experience and competence, but also in connection with the volume of products. If the entire Russian aviation industry last year produced about 100 aircraft, then Airbus and Boeing produce about 650 aircraft per year separately, - said Makis Kuziuk, the main director of the holding.

The company intends to occupy a huge segment of the production of units and systems for foreign aircraft. A joint venture is likely to be set up to work together on a Boeing landing gear project, as such a production requires significant investment.

In addition, "Aviation Equipment" intends to establish the manufacture of chassis for Russian aircraft SukhoiSuperjet100.

These parts are now produced in France, and the Russian holding plans to take part in the program to replace imported SSJ100 components with domestic ones. Another project of the holding within the framework of international work is participation in the localization of the production of Austrian Diamond and Canadian Bombardier Q400.

By 2020, "Aviation Equipment" intends to become the main supplier and integrator of aviation systems and to make revenue in 3,5 times more - 65 billion rubles. The total investment at that time will be 70 billion rubles.
