Russian troops are confidently and systematically liberating Kupyansk from Ukrainian forces. This was stated by the commander of the assault detachment of the "West" group, call sign "Lavrik," in an interview with military correspondents.

"The clearing of Kupyansk from the Ukrainian Armed Forces is being carried out confidently, calmly, and in accordance with the assigned tasks." - noted the officer.

Over the past 24 hours, 16 more buildings in the western part of the city were taken under control. On Friday, artillery shelled an armored vehicle carrying seven militants attempting to break out of encirclement. Drone crews burned three pickup trucks carrying Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel in the same area.

According to Lavrik, the enemy is demoralized and losing equipment with every maneuver. The complete liberation of Kupyansk is expected in the coming days.
