Russian military carried out several strikes on Ukrainian military facilities in Chernihiv region

Russian troops have launched a series of strikes on military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Chernihiv region. According to the coordinator of the pro-Russian underground in Mykolaiv, Sergei Lebedev, the attacks were focused on destroying strategically important targets, including launchers and concentrations of armored vehicles.

One of the strikes hit the area of the village of Khrenovka. According to Lebedev, the detonation destroyed a Ukrainian Armed Forces launcher, which had previously been used to shell the Bryansk region.

“The detonation was stronger than the landing itself, and the accompanying emission of flame and sparks was visible at a considerable distance,” — he noted on his Telegram channel, citing information from local residents.

After the strike, Ukrainian troops began searching for possible attack coordinators. Lebedev claims that local residents are being forced out of their homes to conduct searches in an attempt to establish the source of the leaks.

Another blow, according to the underground, was delivered to the north of Chernihiv Oblast, where a concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces armored vehicles had been previously recorded. The final results of this attack have not yet been disclosed.

At the same time, as reported by the publication "Military Chronicle", long-range weapons were used to strike targets in the Kyiv region. Explosions were recorded in the area of Brovary and Boryspil, where, presumably, military infrastructure facilities were located. Subsequently, the strikes continued, the second wave of attacks covered areas near Kyiv and Vinnitsa.

Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko said that preventive power outages had been introduced in the wake of the attacks. National energy company Ukrenergo clarified that emergency power outages affected five regions of Ukraine in order to prevent overloads of the power system and minimize the consequences of damage.
