Russian troops continue their offensive on the Donetsk front and one of their latest successes was the liberation of the settlement of Lesovka in the Pokrovsk direction.

Lesovka, which was under the control of Ukrainian forces, played an important role in the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this section of the front, which makes its liberation a significant event for the Russian side.

The offensive in the Pokrovsk area has been going on for several weeks now. During the operation, Russian units are systematically moving forward, trying to destroy the enemy's fortified lines of defense and push Ukrainian troops out of the DPR. Lesovka turned out to be one of the key points through which supply routes for the Ukrainian Armed Forces passed, as well as fortifications created to protect positions in this direction.
