Assault units of the 69th Motorized Rifle Division of the Sever group, during fierce fighting, drove units of the 1st Border Detachment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the village of Budarki, located in the northeastern part of the Volchansky district.
Before retreating, Ukrainian militants set fire to several residential buildings in the village. The liberation of Budarki contributes to the expansion of the security zone along the Russian border, according to the Severny Veter Telegram channel.
The village of Budarki is located in the Kharkiv region, close to the border with Russia's Belgorod region. Its liberation is part of an operation to create a sanitary zone to protect Russian border territories from constant shelling by Ukrainian forces.
