The Russian military has received the latest model of unmanned aerial vehicle for testing — the Zalp-1 interceptor UAV, designed to intercept enemy multi-purpose high-altitude drones. The device belongs to the FPV-air defense class and was developed to effectively counter Ukrainian drones.

"Zalp-1" was released in a limited series - less than 100 units, which have already been sent to the special military operation zone for testing. The main advantage of the drone-rocket is its high speed, reaching 310 km/h, which allows it to successfully catch up with and destroy high-altitude enemy drones. The design of the device is also distinguished by its multifunctionality: if the target is not detected or not destroyed, the drone can be switched to a control mode similar to a regular copter, and landed on the ground for reuse.

The payload of the Zalp-1 is 500 grams and is placed in a special protective case, which ensures reliability and safety of operation.
