The Russian military defeated the Ukrainian landing force while trying to cross the Dnieper

The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) continues to make attempts to land landing groups to cross the Dnieper River in order to create bridgeheads on the left bank in the Kherson region. However, according to reports from war correspondents, these attempts end in failure due to the destruction or partial destruction of Ukrainian paratroopers by strikes by Russian troops.

Not long ago, a special unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to land on the left bank of the Dnieper near Belogrudy Island. However, this landing party was ambushed by Russian troops and was forced to retreat, hastily returning across the river.

Experts note that such landings on the left bank of the Dnieper are virtually doomed to failure and cannot lead to the creation of stable bridgeheads for a further attack on Russian positions. Participants in these operations find themselves in extremely risky conditions.

The situation on the left bank of the Dnieper remains tense, since this region is under the control of Russian troops, while the right bank of the river is controlled by Ukrainian military formations.
