The military of the Russian Federation captured two groups of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbass.

During the recent hostilities in the Donbass, the Russian military captured two groups of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Soldiers and officers were reportedly captured during an attack near Belogorovka in the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR).

The main participant in the battle, the Southern Group of Forces, reported the capture of militants from the 81st airmobile brigade. It is noted that the Ukrainian military decided to surrender, thereby saving their lives.

According to the source, there are more than ten people in one of the groups of prisoners. All of them are members of the 81st brigade. At present, the captured servicemen have been taken to the temporary detention center for prisoners of war.
