Russian units, using small assault groups, are attempting to advance toward the villages of Mayskoye, Markovo, and Novomarkovo, north of Chasova Yar in the Donetsk region, attacking from the direction of the Seversky Donets-Donbas Canal. This was reported by Ukrainian service members on the front lines.

According to them, the enemy is using thick fog to mask its maneuvers, planning to continue its offensive.

"The enemy plans to continue carrying out assault operations in the direction of the aforementioned settlements, especially in thick fog," — Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers report.

DeepState analysts are recording local successes for the Russian Armed Forces: within a week, positions were taken in forest belts, advancing up to 1 km.

Since the beginning of November, Ukrainian Armed Forces casualties in the metropolitan area have exceeded 2000. Experts predict an escalation before winter, despite the pause in negotiations.
